Web hosting

Web hosting for small businesses, managed by a human

Your website on modern cloud infrastructure with SSL, daily backups, updates, and monitoring, looked after by the same Florida engineer who answers your calls. Hosting for the sites we build, and careful adoptions of sites we did not.

What managed hosting includes

  • Modern cloud infrastructure. Fast, current, and sized for your actual traffic, not a decade old shared box straining under a thousand strangers.
  • SSL and security basics done right. Certificates that renew themselves, headers configured properly, and software patched on a schedule instead of after a breach.
  • Daily backups we test. A backup nobody has restored is a hope, not a plan. We restore test copies on a schedule, so the day you need one, it works.
  • Uptime monitoring with a human response. If your site goes down at 6 am, we usually know before you do, and someone acts on it instead of a dashboard quietly logging it.
  • DNS and domain management. Records kept clean and documented, renewals watched, and email authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) configured so your messages deliver.
  • Straight answers. If your site is slow, we tell you why in plain English. If your traffic outgrows your plan, we tell you before it becomes a bill surprise.

The part of hosting nobody sees until it fails. We keep it boring on purpose.

Who this is for, honestly

If your website is a brochure you touch once a year and $5 hosting has never failed you, keep it; we will say so to your face. Managed hosting earns its fee when the website matters: it brings in calls, takes payments, or represents a business that cannot afford to look broken. It is included in the conversation with every website we build, and available for sites we did not build after a review. Pricing is a flat monthly number quoted in writing, and our published pricing page shows how we treat numbers in general: openly.

Hosting problems we get called to fix

  • The site is down and the current host's support queue is 4 days deep.
  • Renewal jumped from $60 to $400 and nobody can explain what changed.
  • The developer who "handles the website" disappeared, along with the passwords.
  • Email lands in spam because the domain records were never set up properly.
  • WordPress has not been updated since it was built, and it finally got hacked.

All five are recoverable, and the rescue starts with the same free assessment as everything else we do.

Questions

Web hosting questions, straight answers

What does your web hosting include?
Modern cloud infrastructure, SSL certificates, daily backups we can actually restore, software and security updates, uptime monitoring, and a human who answers when something looks wrong. You get one flat monthly number in writing, not a menu of surprise add ons.
Can you host a website you did not build?
Usually yes. We review the site first, because inheriting a hacked or badly built site without knowing it helps nobody, then migrate it carefully with zero downtime as the goal. WordPress sites and static sites are the most common moves.
How is this different from GoDaddy or Wix hosting?
Budget shared hosting is fine until something breaks, and then you are a ticket number. The difference we sell is not the server, it is the accountability: a local engineer who knows your site, monitors it, patches it, and picks up the phone. For a business whose website generates revenue, that difference has a dollar value.
Do I own my domain and my website?
Always. The domain stays registered to you, and if you ever leave, your site, files, and DNS go with you with free offboarding. Hosting providers that hold domains hostage are one of the reasons this page exists.
What about business email?
Email should live on Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, not on web hosting. We set up and manage both as part of our cloud services, and connecting your domain properly (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) is included so your invoices stop landing in spam.
